evangelin's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - i just had a wonderful conversation with dearest about friendships and priorities.. i guess it has always bugged me when it comes to friendships.. who do i call a true friend.. and what makes a true friend.. and baby made a very good point about what he calls a 'ranking system'.. and how it is really impossible to have a bunch of extremely good friends.. those that belong to that category are not as close to family members.. i guess it's the whole idea of how to spend such limited time with just so many people. too idealistic, not true.. that used to be me.. always out with friends, different grp of friends. yet at the same time, almost impossible to please every group of friends. it took quite a toll on me when i found out how some people weren't happy that i wasn't spending sufficient time with them.. haha.. yet now as i look back, i know it was an impossible task, and it shouldn't even bother me. good friends will stick with you no matter how much or little time you spend with them.. all i know, is that i'm a really satisfied and happy girl now, with my priorities placed (ok not so, especially with my relationship with Daddy above on the rocks =() . family first den baby and 2 main groups of friends. and i'm thankful for all of them who have stuck by me, no matter what. thank you guys. =) 11:05 p.m. - 2008-07-23 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
